Requirements
²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP Southern requires all ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPunder 20 years of age who are enrolled as full-time students, do not live locally, and are classified as a dependent (except veterans and married couples) to live on campus. Students must reach the age of 20 prior to the start of a major semester to reside off-campus. Students over 20 years of age, who have not previously been a resident, must have the Dean of Student’s approval to reside on-campus. We make every effort to house ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPwho desire to reside in the residence halls.
Your room sign-up indicates tentative approval to reside on campus, and your place is reserved. However, please be advised that in the event we have a shortage of housing for ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPunder the age of 20, it may be necessary to adjust the number of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPover the age of 20 we are permitting to live on-campus.

- NEW STUDENTS
Login to the Application Portal to complete the following steps:
- Housing Application
- Pay enrollment deposit
- Submit the CSU official immunization form
- This must be filled out and signed by a healthcare provider
Your housing assignment and roommate information will be on under the ResLife tab. Click on My Resident Information and then the link that says ‘Roommate Inquiry.’
Note: New ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPDO NOT have to complete any sort of housing application or deposit on the MyCSU website
- RETURNING STUDENTS
Login to the Portal to complete the following steps under the ResLife tab:
- Pay $100 Housing Deposit
- Complete Housing Application under current residents tab
- Form roommate group
- Receive lottery number and selection time-slot
- Pick a room when it is your time
Note: this happens in February and March each year and you must complete these steps to have a room assignment for the following school year
