Federal assistance for your education

Several grant programs are available to qualifying students. Unlike loans, grants don’t have to be paid back.

To qualify for federal student aid (grants, loans and work-study funds), you have to meet certain eligibility requirements. See more information below.

Please note to be eligible for federal loans, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPmust be enrolled at least half time (6 credit hours for undergraduate ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPand 3 credit hours for graduate students), be degree seeking in an eligible degree or certificate program and be taking courses that are required for their degree.

For undergraduate ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPonly. Eligibility is determined according to federal law and is based on the financial information you and your family provide on your FAFSA; must have financial need. To be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, undergraduate ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPmust be in at least 3 degree-seeking credit hours. View CSU’s withdrawal and return of  . Amount of Award: Maximum of $7,395 for 2023-2024 year

Renewal Policy: Submit FAFSA annually. Available October 1. Not guaranteed to be renewed based on federal need, maximum yearly limits, maximum lifetime limits etc.

For undergraduate ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPPonly.  Student must be a full Pell Grant recipient with exceptional financial need based on FAFSA Expected Family Contribution. Funding is limited, and funds are awarded on a first-come basis. Click  for federal eligibility.

Amount of Award:Up to $1,000 per academic year, pending availability of funding.
